Tough decisions: How OCM and BPCIA participants managed COVID-19 overlap challenges

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted every aspect of our healthcare system. That’s true for participants in the Oncology Care Model and Bundled Payments for Care Improvement Advanced programs. Organizations in these programs had to make important decisions regarding the overlap of their program performance periods with the COVID-19 public health emergency. Several trends have begun to emerge from these choices.
